Project Manager – Work
Lucy manages the Redundancy and Retraining Project in the West Midlands at the Centre for Ageing Better.

The Redundancy and Retraining project is seeking to understand what is working well for over 50’s accessing employment support services and retraining through partnering with existing service providers in the region to learn about what is currently working well, as well as piloting adaptations to services using a co-design model. The project aims to learn about what features of service provision work best for over 50s facing redundancy and will share this learning with national commissioners and service providers.

Prior to working for Centre for Ageing Better, Lucy has worked in volunteering and community engagement across a number of different sectors such as heritage, arts, environment and local government, working to improve the lives of others through access to nature, healthy activity and more; most recently as a Volunteering and Participation Consultant at the National Trust. Lucy is passionate about co-design and partnership working to deliver better outcomes for people.
